Punjabi Lions have roared on the first two days of the tournament. They are undefeated and seem the team to beat in Cyprus.

Gurapartap Singh is set to make another impression on the tournament at the top of the order. Many consider him to be the most talented Punjabi batsman. He certainly won’t be afraid to back his abilities and go over the top of the infield at the start of the innings.
Waqas Akhtar has proven to be a very versatile player for the Lions, scoring runs, taking wickets and even filling in with the gloves when required. With three matches for the team on Wednesday, he will be a key cog in the machine.
Mangala Gunasekara has been very impressive so far. He can feature with bat and ball. The Lions have been lucky to secure such a talented cricketer for this week’s ECS.
Kulwinder Singh is THE PACKAGE. When given opportunities, he has shown why he is the prototype of the modern T10 cricketer.
Team Preview for Amdocs
Amdocs have shown steady improvement and will hope to keep doing so. The face a stern test again against the rampaging Lions.
Captain: Hitesh Thadani
Main Wicketkeeper: Aritra Chakrabooty
Key Players:
Swaroop Pattanaik is by far the most talent batsman that Amdocs have at their disposal. He has to bat through the ten overs at a decent pace for Amdocs to be competitive.
Avinash Rane is a key inclusion, and will hope to sure up the top order batting. He has the potential to be a nice foil for Pattanaik, but he has to keep scoring and not chew up too many dot balls.
Vimal Khanduri has impressed with his spin at times during the first two days. He will be a good pace-off option for his captain.
Arjun Pasoriya performed well after being brought into the team, taking 2 for 11. He will hope to continue his good bowling form on Wednesday.

Amdocs have improved for sure since their mauling in the first match of the tournament at the hands of the Punjabis, but I don’t think they have the class or depth to be lion-tamers just yet. Punjabi Lions to secure a comfortable victory.
