FanCode ECS Sweden Stockholm provides an opportunity for ten teams to showcase their skills, contesting 48 games over 12 days. Every game will be live streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
What unfolded last year?
Pakistanska Forening came into Fancode ECS Sweden Stockholm with a terrific record in the inaugural edition of the tournament last year. In the first ever ECS tournament in Sweden last summer, PF went unbeaten to lift the maiden title. PF won all eight matches in the season, the only team to not taste defeat.
Strong on the batting and bowling front, PF beat Sigtuna CC in the finals last year after putting on 123 with the bat and then reducing the opposition to just 79/7 to win by 44 runs and take the title.
Pakistanska Forening's rich history
Despite losing a few star players, PF have a rich history, having won the Swedish Superettan One Day Series in 2018. The Sweden Cricket Federation itself was formed in 1990, and under the Federation the SCF One Day Championship happens. Pakistanska Forening have the history of having won three back-to-back SCF One Day Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

In the third game, against Stockholm, PF once again put on a strong batting show, making 97/6 driven by Mohammed Vajjih Ali and Sameer Ali Khan, who had made 106 runs in five innings in the previous edition.
Stats from PF's dominating day
Two comprehensive wins put PF at the top of the points table after the opening day. PF not only made quick runs, but also restricted the opposition team in both matches. The run rate for was 9.9 for PF while run rate against was a meagre 7.4.
PF showed quality in the very first over of the batting innings, racking up 22 runs in the first over, the most in the day by any team. PF extended that into the powerplay overs, scoring 44 runs in one game, the most by any team on day 1 of the tournament.
