RECAP - DAY 1 - FanCode ECS Italy Brescia

Five top Italian sides, Italian treble winners Brescia CC, Cividate, Janjua Brescia, Jinnah Brescia and Pak Lions Ghedi feature over six days in 24 scintillating T10 matches from beautiful Brescia. FanCode ECS Italy Brescia got off to a damp start on Monday.

Newcomers Cividate were exceedingly well-placed to rack up a first victory after bowling out Italy's treble-winners Brescia CC for only 50. However, after persistent rain, Cividate were cruelly denied any chance of a shock victory with the elements saving Brescia's CC blushes, after being skittled out in only 7.3 overs.

Thankfully, the rain did abate to allow the hosts Janjua Brescia to start with intent against newcomers Pak Lions Ghedi with an impressive all-round display.

The tables were turned in Match 3 with Cividate chasing 136 against a much-improved Brescia CC. Heavy rain saved Cividate from probable defeat with justice done perhaps for the earlier abandonment in Match 1.

Match 4 between the hosts Janjua Brescia and Pak Lions Ghedi also fell victim to the weather on a rain-spoilt day in Italy.
