Introducing SC Europa (SCE) FanCode ECS Germany Kiel
10 leading teams from Northern Germany feature over 12 days in 48 high-intensity T10 matches. Every game will be live streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
Founded in 2016, SC Europa can boast useful experience at this level, but often find it hard to produce consistent performances. SCE are more than capable on their day, as showed by a shock victory over eventual champions KSV in the group stages at Dream 11 European Cricket Series Kummerfeld last summer. SC Europa went winless at ECN Hannover Hitout last summer, but only missed out on a semi-final spot at Dream11 European Cricket Series Kummerfeld on NRR.
SCE Cricket was one of the first clubs in Northern Germany to contact the refugee camps to assist budding young cricketers in any shape or form and today half of the club’s players are from a refugee background.
SCE will be skippered by top run scorer last season Sahel Darwish who also delivered 144 runs in six knocks at ECS Kummerfeld, while wicket takers Israfeel Aryubi, Umar Farooq, Bilal Shinwari will shoulder the burden with the new ball.
