FanCode ECI Portugal Marks ECN's 100th Event Milestone

FanCode ECI Portugal tournament will be the 100th event in ECN's history.

The European Cricket Network (ECN) is set to reach a historic milestone with the upcoming FanCode ECI Portugal, which will be the 100th event in the organization's history. Over the years, we have witnessed some of the most exhilarating cricket matches, and it fills us with immense pride to have come this far.

The tournament is scheduled to be played on 8th and 9th April at the Santarem Cricket Ground, Portugal.

It's remarkable to look back and see the number of countries and cities that have hosted our events. Since its inception, the ECN has brought together cricket enthusiasts from all over Europe, hosting events in 20 different countries and 39 cities. The organization has witnessed some remarkable cricketing feats over the years, with 882 match days played, involving 504 teams and 7310 players from 62 different nationalities.

The numbers speak for themselves - over 615,400 runs have been scored, with more than 34,000 wickets taken and 77,650+ boundaries scored. The average runs scored per ball in ECN events is an impressive 1.51.

The 100th event marks a significant milestone for the ECN, which has continued to promote and grow the sport of cricket in Europe. The FanCode ECI Portugal promises to be a fitting celebration of this landmark occasion with three European national sides competing for glory.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our fans, sponsors, partners, and most importantly, the players, for their continued support in making ECN what it is today.
