La Manga, Spain – Italian champions Brescia have been stripped of three wins during the 2019 ECL tournament due to an ineligible player, the European Cricket League announced on Tuesday.

As per ECL regulations, Brescia will lose their points and accordingly finish bottom of the group.

Meanwhile, Rotterdam clinched top spot in group A ahead of Svanholm after beating Denmark’s champions in the last group A game on day 2.

Buoyed by two precious wins on Tuesday, German champions Findorff secured top spot in Group B, followed by Spain’s representatives Catalunya who also make the last four, remaining in the hunt to be crowned the kings of Europe.
